Pilates

“Change happens through movement and movement heals.” – Joseph Pilates

When our bodies are fit, our emotions are more balanced, our minds are keener, we have more confidence, and we have better mobility in our daily lives. Regular physical activity is necessary for the optimal health of body, mind, and spirit.

You will benefit from Pilates whether you practice for 10 minutes a day or jump into a full class several times a week. You can practice pilates year around in the comfort of your home, your favorite outdoor space, or your favorite studio.

Benefits of Pilates:

  • Improves flexibility, range of motion, and ease of movement

  • Contributes to healthy weight maintenance, replacing fat with calorie burning, efficient muscle

  • Builds bone density

  • Boosts energy and endorphins through low intensity, full body conditioning

  • Improves your circulation through focused deep breathing and good posture

  • Great for lymphatic flow helping to cleanse and detox your body
